National
Catechetical Convention 2007

All Heads
of Catechetical Centers and Colleges/Universities with
Religious Education, Regional (Ecclesiastical
Province) Catechetical Directors and CEAP
Religious Education Commission Membersare
invited to participate
in the National Catechetical Convention on January
10-12, 2007 at
St. Michael Retreat House, Antipolo City. The objectives
of this Convention are the following:
- to hold the formal launching of
Association of Catechetical Centers and Colleges with
Religious Education (ACCCRE),
- to review and finalize the proposed
Strategic Plan for 2007-2010,
- to present the Compendium on the
Social Doctrine of the Church and Compendium on the
Catechism of the Catholic Church,
- to provide updates on the Asian
Mission Congress, FABC Meeting on Family Catechesis
and International Consultation on Adult Religious Education,
- to provide a forum with Bishops
on catechetical issues and concerns, and
- to strengthen the linkages among
catechetical centers and the regional catechetical
directors and ECCCE.
Letters
of invitation were mailed to your offices. Please
signify your intention by sending back the reply form
attached thereto.
