Nationwide Meeting with Catechetical Formation Centers and
Colleges with RE
On May 22-24, 2006, the ECCCE will host an organizational meeting with all heads
of catechetical institutes and department heads of colleges offering religious
education courses. Venue will be at the NPC Seminar Center in Bagac, Bataan.
After going through a series of consultation meetings, the necessity for catechetical
centers to form a coordinating association surfaced. This proposed association
will serve as catalyst for communion among the various
centers that train catechists. This
association will be a venue for the exchange of resources and materials in
view of upgrading formation programs.
