Rationale of NCCEC 2005

  • Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines Superintendents’ Commission   

Objectives:

  • To strengthen communion among diocesan catechetical directors/ coordinators and heads of catechetical centers, colleges and universities with Religious Education Program and diocesan/congregational school superintendents towards a greater sense of mission;
  • To critique the two draft documents on the accreditation of Religious Education program in Catholic Schools, colleges and universities and the accreditation of Catechetical Center and colleges/universities offering Religious Education;
  • To review the draft documents on the manual of superintendents and the management audit of Catholic schools;
  • To present salient features of the propose laws in the mandatory religious instruction and subsidy scheme to private elementary and secondary schools; and
  • To share practices in the supervision of catechists.
