LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATION
The
CEAP is governed by a 21-member Board of Directors
composed of 15 regional directors (from the National
Capital Region, Regions I to XII, Caraga Region,
and Cordillera Administrative Region), five directors-at-Iarge,
and the chairperson of the Superintendents Commission,
which in turn elects a set of officers. The Board

by an Executive Director. The offices of the Executive
Director, Programs, Publication and Information,
and Administrative Services are currently staffed
by 14 personnel.
At the regional level, the regional directors work
within particular structure set up for coordination,
planning and implementation of programs and other local
concerns.
CEAP has four commissions, and their functions are
as follows: The Superintendents Commission gathers all
diocesan and congregational school superintendents and
works to support CEAP's goals. The Commission on Religious
Education formulates policies and programs for effective
religious education in member institutions, in consultation
with the Episcopal Commission on Catechesis and Catholic
Education and other offices of the Catholic Bishops
Conference of the Philippines. The Advocacy Commission
is responsible for the effective communication to all
concerned sectors of CEAP's position on current issues
and problems affecting private education. The Retirement
Commission administers the CEAP Retirement Plan which
provides retirement benefits to faculty and staff of
participating member-institutions.
CEAP Board members sit in the committees which discuss
policy matters regarding Personnel and Finance, Programs
and Scholarships, Membership and Awards, and Legal Matters.
